Tree Lighting at the Creamery
Parents, children, and holiday lovers of all ages congregated upon the Creamery’s festively-lit plaza to witness an impressive tree lighting ceremony. Massive, decorative gift boxes and whimsical mirrored baubles welcomed guests, while a band onstage played jazzy holiday standards—one talented act among many over the course of the evening—and a picture-perfect Santa Claus chatted and sat for photos with eager attendees nearby. Just beyond Santa’s queue, rhetorically-minded children were encouraged to write their very own letters to the man at a “Letters to Santa” table, and hot chocolate and cookies tickled the taste buds, and warmed the spirits.
If you missed it, or if you just can’t get enough Santa, fear not; he’ll be returning Sunday, December 8th, from 1pm to 4pm. The Creamery is hosting many more inclusive and family-friendly events throughout the holiday season. Check out www.thecreamerysatx.com/happenings for dates and details.
