Boots & Badges
The 100 Club of San Antonio hosted its 10th annual Boots & Badges Casino Night at The Rock at La Cantera to support the enforcement officers and firefighters who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. Funds raised provide immediate assistance to their families, focusing on educational support for surviving children.
KSAT's John Paul Barajas welcomed guests, and SAPD Chaplain James Warner gave the invocation, followed by United States Navy veteran and national recording artist Dave Bray USA, who sang the national anthem and tribute. BBQ dinner, casino games, auctions, live music by Jody Jenkins Band, and a check presentation filled the night and kept the 350 plus guests busy while raising funds for first responders.
