Darlene’s Vision
Darlene’s Vision/Children First - Cowboy Soiree was held on the historic grounds of the Alamo to benefit Rise Therapeutic Adaptive Riding and Hippotherapy, Christy's Hope Christmas Toy Drive, and The Texas Cavaliers Education Center at the Alamo.
Darlene’s Vision stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Anna Darlene Dorsey, a woman whose deep love for children and commitment to nurturing their individual sparks defined her life. Established in her honor, the non-profit is dedicated to upholding Darlene’s belief in placing children at the forefront, recognizing their unique potential and fostering their growth.
Darlene’s daughter, Carroll Dorsey Walker, spearheaded the rootin’ tootin’ good time gala, which included trick roping, silent and live auctions, entertainment by mariachis, and two-steppin’ to The Joe Panther Band.
