The tradition was brought to life on the NESA stage by former dance director Dena Mabry, whose visionary leadership made it a reality. A standout tradition is the inclusion of the iconic “Toy Soldier” number, which is taught each year by a former Rockette, Kathy Dacey, flown in specifically to work with the dancers performing the piece.
